1) Introduction 

Al-Arqam School is a supplemental school that offers students education in Quran, Tajweed, Arabic,  and Islamic Studies at a level equivalent to that offered at full-time private Islamic schools.

2) Registration: 

• Registration for returning students and their siblings begins March 1st, 2025. 
• Registration for new students begins April 1st, 2025.  
• Returning students are not automatically enrolled for the new school year. All students – even returning ones – need to register. 

3) New Student Enrollment: 

• Placement of new students is based on student’s level in the Arabic language (reading, writing, and comprehension) 
• Students with no knowledge in the Arabic language (reading and writing) and are born between the dates 9/1/2018 – 9/1/2020 can register for the beginner level and they don’t need a placement test before they register. 
• Students with previous knowledge in the Arabic language (reading and writing), and students born before 9/1/2018 must take a placement test in Arabic before they can register. 

4) School Timings and Class Schedule 

The first day of school will be Sunday 9/7/2025. The last day of school will be 5/17/2026. Fridays: 4:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. (Online) 

Sundays: 12:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. (In person at the MCA)

Students must attend both days except for excused absences. Detailed class schedule, online meetings information, and floor map will be emailed prior to the school start date in shaa Allah. Also, teachers will send emails with more specific details about each class (teachers’ introduction letters, syllabus, supplies, etc.) right before school starts. 

5) Tuition and Fees 

Tuition: 

• • Fees are based on a 9-month tuition starting September 2025 and ending May 2026. 
  • The monthly tuition for the first student is $120.  
  • The monthly tuition for each additional sibling is $110 

Fees: 

• • There is a one-time nonrefundable registration fee of $40 per student for all returning students who register during the month of March. 
  • There is a one-time nonrefundable registration fee of $50 per student for all students  (returning and new) registering 4/1 or later.
  • There is a one-time nonrefundable activity fee of $75 per student. 
  • A one-month notice is required in case of withdrawal from school. 

6) Muntazim Online System 

Al-Arqam school uses the Muntazim Online System for all kinds of communication between the  school and the parents. Login credentials for the Muntazim system will be emailed to all parents as the start date of the school year nears. On the Muntazim system, parents can find information like tuition invoices, homework, grades, report cards, students’ attendance records, teachers’ contact information, school information and events, etc. 

7) Textbooks 

We partnered with the MCA Bookstore to make it easier for parents to get the textbooks. A link will be emailed to parents to preorder the textbooks online and then pick them up from the MCA Bookstore.
